Risks

Professional clients are entitled to fewer protections compared to retail clients as per the relevant legislation. In summary, the fewer protections Professional clients are entitled to compared to retail clients are as follows:

1. Professional clients are not entitled to compensation under the Investor Compensation Fund.
2. Professional clients are not entitled of negative balance protection. Professional clients are required to make additional payments to their trading accounts if they fall into a negative balance.
3. We may assume you have the necessary level of knowledge and experience when assessing the appropriateness of our products and services to you.
4. When executing your orders, we owe you a duty of best execution.  For retails clients we must prioritise overall prices and cost of a transaction when giving best execution.  For professional clients, we may proioritise other factors in giving best execution, such as speed and likelihood of execution if we determine they are equally or more important than overall price.  In practice, we will not change the way we execute your orders.
